LG Optimus L3 debuts in Europe this month

Following an unveiling ceremony at the MWC 2012, the LG Optimus L3 is all set to make its presence felt in Europe starting this month. The gadget in question is spearheading the assortment of handsets in the L-Style design series introduced this year.

The phone is expected to conform to all the elements of the L-Style with regards to design, structure and convenience. As far as other specs of the device are concerned, the offering sports a 3.2-inch display and operates on a 1,500mAh battery. Moreover, the compact exterior of the entrant is dipped in vivid shades like blue, hot pink, black or white.

“We’ve always believed in the need to offer a variety of smartphone options and many people simply don’t want to pay for a lot of extra bells and whistles. We think the Optimus L3 offers all of basic smartphone-related benefits but in a more premium pack-age that hasn’t been seen before on a smartphone in this category,” commented Dr. Jong-seok Park, President and CEO of LG Mobile Communications Company.

A dual-core processor clocking in at 800MHz looks after all the functions of the device, and there’s up to 150MB internal memory. Featuring 2GB RAM, the phone takes advantage of the Android Gingerbread OS and also comes equipped with a 3MP main camera.

The LG Optimus L3 release date and price details have not been mentioned at present. However, following the launch in Europe, the phone is expected to reach markets in Asia and Russia. It is slated to hit other parts of the globe thereafter.
