The Panasonic home audio speaker lineup comprising the SC-AP01 wireless metal bar system, the SC-GT07 stereo and SC-MC07 Compact Wireless Stereo speaker, utilizes the company’s Micro System concept. Boasting of a different design concept, these compact devices are said to be capable of reproducing superior audio.
The Panasonic SC-AP01 wireless metal bar engineered with metal net, employs nano-sized cone speakers made of bamboo. This audio gear promises clear vocals and is deployed with the Aero Stream Port for deep bass sans distortion. Featuring Direct-Vocal Surround for a concert hall-like musical experience, it is compatible with iDevices as well as PC systems due to its support for AirPlay and wireless LAN network. Additionally, the Apple devices can also be charged from the speaker.
“We have developed the user-focused speaker systems to further expand upon Panasonic’s line of home audio system products. It was our goal to create unique products for consumers that featured compact designs that still performed as well as larger stereo systems to be able to meet a wider range of user needs,†commented Troy Livingston, Product manager, Panasonic, Entertainment Group.
The Panasonic SC-GT07 dons a wood-like panel and rotary volume knob in a guitar box-like design. This docking station for iPhone and iPod supports digital transmission of music while eliminating data deterioration, and is compliant with both landscape and portrait screen orientations. Similar to the aforementioned system, it also is integrated with Bamboo cone speakers and Aero Stream Port in addition to Pure Direct Sound system.
The smallest of the three, the Panasonic SC-MC07 Compact Wireless Stereo speaker can be used in conjunction with Apple devices, BlackBerry or other smartphone with the assistance of its Bluetooth functionality. It can either be powered via a USB cable or by AA batteries, which make it suitable for streaming music on the move.
The Panasonic home audio speaker lineup will be available in April this year. They are currently up for display at the ongoing CES.
