Samsung Galaxy Nexus and LG Viper smartphones make their way via Sprint

After carriers such as Verizon Wireless and MetroPCs, Sprint has jumped onto the bandwagon to offer 4G LTE network through devices like the Samsung Galaxy Nexus and LG Viper. The Android 4.0-based Galaxy Nexus and Gingerbread-powered Viper will be accompanied by the Sierra Wireless Tri-Network Hotspot.

Featuring a redesigned Android user interface due to the Ice Cream Sandwich platform, the Galaxy Nexus boasts of improved multitasking and Wi-Fi capabilities as well as NFC functionality. It is embedded with software navigation buttons and comes with Face Unlock for added security. The smartphone also supports Google Wallet in addition to Android Beam that simplifies sharing content with other compatible gadgets.

Sprint LG Viper

The Viper is an eco-friendly gadget which binges on Gingerbread. Fitted with a 4-inch WVGA Nova display, it is equipped with a 1.2GHz dual core processor. The phone is capable of supporting a microSD card of capacity up to 32GB and is armed with dual cameras. The primary 5MP snapper can be employed to capture still shots and videos, whereas the front facing VGA webcam lets users engage in video conferencing.

Sprint has not revealed the Samsung Galaxy Nexus and LG Viper prices and availability details.
