The Pioneer Steez series of portable music players which was announced in Europe previously, has now been unveiled for the U.S. The lineup comprises the STZ-D10S-L Solo, STZ-D10T-G Duo and STZ-D10Z-R Crew systems.
All three devices are incorporated with various interesting features such as Dance Boost , Auto DJ Mode, 8-Beat Skip and Tempo Control. The Steez STZ-D10S-L Solo music system features 4GB internal memory and is capable of supporting MP3, WMA, AAC and LPCM music formats. Possessing a 2.4-inch LED QVGA screen, it runs on 6 AA batteries and delivers 5 Watt power output.

Dressed in a striking neon green color, the Steez STZ-D10T-G Duo is built with a water-proof design and possesses almost all the features that its Solo counterpart does. While it’s said to be apt for small dance spaces such as rooms or halls, the Steez STZ-D10Z-R Crew music system is reportedly suitable for larger areas as it provides higher output and more powerful bass performance. Embedded with a 3.5-inch LED QVGA screen, the device is accompanied by dedicated subwoofers and is powered by 10 D batteries or an AC adapter.
The Pioneer Steez range of portable music systems will start retailing from next month. The Steez STZ-D10S-L Solo, STZ-D10T-G Duo and STZ-D10Z-R Crew systems are priced at $299 (approx. Rs. 14,745), $349 (approx. Rs. 17,15) and $499(approx. Rs. 24,575), respectively.
