Seems HP is in perfect mood to launch its products. After launhing some high end products in India HP has now introduced a bunch of Photosmart Printers and rich digital cameras. The product range includes a digital camera with the largest touchscreen LCD display of any compact digital camera in the industry; single-function printers that offer the fastest and easiest way to print lab-quality photos at home; and an all-in-one printer that can print customized labels directly onto CDs and DVDs.
“Summer brings not only warmer weather, but family vacations, backyard get-togethers and plenty of other occasions where memories can be captured,†said Dan Gilbert, vice president of marketing, Digital Photography and Entertainment, HP.
The HP Photosmart R937 Digital Camera offers 3.6-inch Auto-bright touchscreen display through which users can edit and organise photos on the camera itself. The 8-megapixel resolutions camera allows capturing clear and bright images. Also the HP R937 camera features the latest generation of HP Design Gallery which includes the popular slimming feature that can take up to 10 pounds off photographed subjects.
The HP Photosmart Mz67 is also an 8 megapixel digital camera having 6x optical zoom. Moreover, it features a bright 2.5-inch display for easy viewing indoors or out.
The HP Photosmart R742 is another digital camera introduced by HP. The camera features HP steady photo anti-shake mode, HP Design Gallery, HP Photosmart software and Vista compatibility, which makes it easy to edit, share and manage photos. This camera is available in a wide variety of colors, including silver black and dark blue.
The HP Photosmart E337 Digital Camera is very thin and light in weight. It features a 5-megapixel camera. The Photosmart E337 is expected to hit American markets in July. The remaining eight digital cameras, including the HP Photosmart R937 Digital Camera and HP Photosmart Mz67 Digital Camera, are expected to be available for purchase in August.
Other six new HP digital cameras will start at a low price as $79 (approx Rs.3,200). All these cameras feature easy editing, sharing and managing photos application.
Coming to the printers that HP launched recently, the Photosmart D7260 Printer and Photosmart D7460 Printer, which are user-friendly and are a faster way to print photos at home. Both printers feature easy-to-use 3.5-inch touchscreens, an HP Red-Eye Removal button, HP Smart Web Printing, Ethernet networking and HP Auto Sense technology. The D7460 also features built-in wireless connectivity and Ethernet. Both printers are expected to be available in the U.S. market by August at the price of $149 (around Rs.6,000) and $179( approx Rs.7,200) respectively.
The HP Photosmart C5280 All-in-One Printer allows users to create designs on a PC and then print directly onto CDs and DVDs for convenient archiving. The all-in-one C5280 features include HP Smart Web Printing, an automatic paper-type sensor and an HP Red-Eye Removal button. The C5280 also enables affordable printing with high-capacity inkjet cartridges. This printer is expected to be available in June for $149 (around 6000INR).
