This time, iRiver has come out with the new W10 portable media player with Wi-Fi connectivity.
Most importantly, the media player uses Skyhook Wireless Wi-Fi Positioning System (WPS).
The W10 not only comes with WiFi but also with Windows CE-based PMP, FM radio and a VoIP client. So the media player can play music and even displays photos and videos.
Moreover, the stylish player delivers a 3-inch WQVGA widescreen TFT touchscreen, MiniSD card slot with 8GB internal storage. It also features built-in loudspeakers including recording and alarm function.
The iRiver W10 supports MP3, WMA, WMV 9, ASF, OGG Q10, MPEG4 SP videos H.264, AAC, JPG photos, texts, flash games.
According to the sources, the detailed specification of the iRiver W10 portable media player is yet to be announced with its price and availability. However, it is scheduled to be out in stores in Q4 of 2007.
