Intex is on a roll as multiple smartphones have popped up online since the start of this month only and the Aqua Speed HD is yet another addition to its ever growing lineup. The new phone has been given an official launch unlike most others and it’s priced at Rs 8999. The device is basically an improved version of the Aqua Speed which was released only last month.
The main highlight of the handset is its attractive design where the sides flaunt a golden trim, while the rest of the body comes in white, silver or blue shades. And compared to the original Aqua Speed, the Intex Aqua Speed HD is slightly taller, but still retains most of the core hardware.
The new Intex smartphone employs a 4.7-inch 720p HD IPS display to deliver visuals. It has Android 4.4 KitKat preloaded, but there’s no mention of whether the phone will be bumped to Lollipop anytime soon. And to deliver the steam, there’s a 1.3GHz quad core MediaTek chipset based on the Cortex A7 with Mali 400 MP2 graphics.

The Aqua Speed HD also has an 8MP camera on the rear with dual LED flash for taking better low-light images. And for selfie lovers, a 5MP shooter has been fitted to the front. The handset also tags along a 1700mAh battery, dual SIM support, 16GB storage and 2GB RAM.
