The Gionee Elife S7 is the new slim smartphone from the company and it has been officially launched in India. The handset carries a price tag of Rs 24999, making it more expensive compared to its predecessors, but it does pack quite a punch within a gorgeous design.
The Gionee Elife S7 is basically the successor the S5.1 and S5.5 which went official last year. The device in question isn’t the slimmest amongst the three, but it’s the most powerful. And that’s because the company focused on delivering a thin design without missing out on good hardware. The phone has a rugged form factor made from airplane-grade Al-Mg alloy.
At 5.5mm, it manages to fit quite a bit of beefy components on the inside. The display here is a 5.2-inch 1080p FHD AMOLED touchscreen and delivering the steam is a 1.7GHz octa core 64-bit MediaTek processor. Gionee hasn’t compromised on battery life either as a pretty large 2750mAh power pack has also been thrown in.

In the imaging department, an 8MP camera can be found on the front for taking selfies, while a 13MP shooter is located on the rear. There’s also dual SIM card support with 4G LTE, 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. Coming to software, Android 5.0 Lollipop is what the Elife S7 offers out of the box. The company’s own Amingo 3.0 UX is also present with visual tweaks and various enhancements.
