Intex Aqua M5 goes on sale in India quietly

The Intex Aqua M5 is the fourth smartphone from the OEM to show up in India over a couple of days and unlike the Aqua Y2, Aqua HD 5.0 and Aqua Desire HD handsets which have all been listed on the company’s website, this one is already available for purchase. The device is currently being offered in black at an affordable price of Rs 5299.

The Intex Aqua M5 is basically a blend of mid-range and entry-level. For the amount being asked, it’s a decent looking phone with a 9.9mm thick design and a pretty good roster of hardware. The display used here is a generously sized 5-inch FWVGA panel. And the company has also delivered quite good cameras rated at 2MP and 8MP on the front and rear, respectively.

The Intex phone is powered by the same 1.3GHz quad core processor that’s been widely used by Indian OEMs. It also comes with 4GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot. However, the RAM is the most disappointing feature at just 512MB.
