HTC Desire 626G+ with octa core processor released in India

The HTC Desire 626G+ is a brand new handset and the company has decided to bring it first to India. The device is available with a price tag of Rs 16900 and it tags along mid-range features like an HD display and a selfie camera.

The HTC Desire 626G+ is basically a version of the Desire 626 which was launched during the MWC 2015 last month. The new phone comes with hardware tailored for the Indian market and the main difference is that it drops LTE connectivity and a 64-bit chipset for dual SIM card slots and an octa core processor. The exact make and model of the SOC isn’t known as yet, but we can confirm a clock speed of 1.7GHz.

The new HTC phone takes on the tradition Desire series look and there appears to be front-facing BoomSound speakers onboard too, which would be a good deal considering the retail tag. Coming to the cameras, a 5MP snapper is on the front and a 13MP shooter is placed on the rear.
