5-inch Intex Aqua Curve officially unveiled in India, priced at Rs 12,490

The Intex Aqua Curve had shown up online a few days ago and without wasting much time, the company has decided to go official with the device. It has been launched in India for an economical price that stands at just under Rs 12,500.

The Intex Aqua Curve is basically a phablet that offers a multi-touch real estate of 5 inches and is said to be the first phone from an Indian manufacturer to make the most of the OGS Curve display. The Intex handset features dual SIM card slots and is perfectly compatible with 3G network speeds. You can even browse the internet oven Wi-Fi and use other communication options such as Bluetooth and a USB port for transferring content and tethering it to other devices.

An 8MP camera has been fitted on the rear side to help you capture all your memories in the form of pictures and videos and its 2MP webcam can come in handy for video conferencing purposes. The Jelly Bean-powered smartphone is fueled by a 1.3GHz quad core processor and 1GB of RAM. You can save your content on the phone, but as it contains only 4GB of storage, you may have to insert a microSD card into the dedicated slot. Its 2000mAh battery provides talk time of up to 4.5 hours.
