The Intex Aqua Amaze is all set to take on the affordable market in India as it comes equipped with a good assortment of hardware and a sweet price tag. The phone has been listed at Rs 10690 on the company’s website and it’s available for purchase for a slightly lower amount.
Contrary to its name, the Intex Aqua Amaze doesn’t amaze us, in design at least. The phone has some decent looks, but nothing out of the ordinary. The only place where the device excels is in the hardware department as the company hasn’t held back in furnishing it with some pretty good specs.
The phone falls in the mid-range segment and it packs an octa core processor based on the ARM Cortex A7. The chipset is clocked at 1.4GHz and not 1.7GHz like in the Redmi Note, but it’s still much more powerful compared to the usual quad core chips. Additionally, you get treated to 720p HD visuals through a 5-inch IPS OGS touchscreen.

The cameras here are also part of the main highlights as the front snapper is a 5MP one, while a 13MP sensor can be found on the rear. Android 4.4 KitKat comes pre-loaded as you’d expect and there are dual SIM slots as well, with supports for HSPA 3G networks.
