Xolo One smartphone wants you to believe its part of Android One, but isn’t

The Xolo One smartphone has been revealed in India and the company has named the device in a way which hints at it being part of the Android One lineup from Google. Well, that isn’t the case here as the device doesn’t uses physical navigation buttons and doesn’t have the mandatory branding like the real phones.

The Xolo One, however, does come with the exact same hardware as the Android One handsets. And the company is also an official partner in the program, so we could see a Nexus-like device surface in the near future. Despite the slight disappointment, the smartphone is a pretty attractive looking one.
