Intex has announced the launch of its Cloud X1+ and Cloud Y11 smartphones which have already hit online shopping portals in India. These entry-level devices have been equipped with pretty outdated specs, but that’s what you’ll get when their prices are as low as Rs 2,990 (X1+) and Rs 4,490 (Y11).
Talking about the Intex Cloud X1+, it holds on itself a 3.5-inch display which offers an HVGA resolution. The phone benefits from a 2MP camera as well. Its OS is the outdated Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread platform, whereas its internals aren’t highlight-worthy as well, with a 1GHz single core processor and 128MB of RAM running the show.
This handset features just 256MB worth of internal storage, but there’s scope for further expansions thanks to its microSD card slot. Furthermore, a 1250mAh battery does the job of keeping the device running between charges.
The Intex Cloud Y11 on the other hand, is a little more advanced that the other smartphone. It runs the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS, and displays its visuals on a 4-inch 800 x 480 pixel resolution panel. It provides dual core processing power, and both these units tick at 1GHz.
Moreover, there’s 256MB worth of RAM present on the phone, apart from 512MB of internal storage which is of course expandable. A 2MP rear camera and a VGA webcam also form part of its offerings, apart from a 1400mAh battery.
Like we said, the Intex Cloud X1+ and Cloud Y11 can be snapped up now through various online retail portals at Rs 2,990 and Rs 4,490, respectively.
