The Swipe Halo Fone is 6.5-inch tablet which features voice calling support, and it has been launched by its maker in India already. Available now through Flipkart at an affordable price of Rs 6,999, this slate comes equipped with a dual core chip, and runs the Jelly Bean version of the Android OS.
Its front houses a 6.5-inch TFT LCD panel that’s able to render its visuals with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. Dual cameras make their way into the Swipe Halo Fone, with the one on the rear surface grabbing a 2MP sensor and the one on the front netting a 0.3MP unit.
The internal storage memory of this slab has been locked at 4GB, however, there’s scope for further expansions thanks to the presence of a microSD card slot on it. Its operations are taken care of by a 1.3GHz Cortex-A7 dual core processor which is accompanied in this department by 512MB worth of RAM.
Sized at 101mm x 183mm x 9mm, this 235 gram device occupies a 2800mAh battery which provides 6 hours of talktime, 150 hours of standby time and 4 hours of browsing time. Dual SIM card slots have also been placed on this new voice calling tablet.
