Nokia Lumia 530 hits India with dual SIM and Rs 7349 price

The wait is finally over as the Nokia Lumia 530 has landed in India and is available for purchase at a very attractive price of Rs 7349. The handset runs on the latest WP8.1 release which include the Lumia Cyan update and it comes with dual SIM support and 3G HSPA+ 21Mbps connectivity.

The Nokia Lumia 530 is the successor to the Lumia 520 and 525 smartphones, the former carrying the title of the most popular WP8 handset. While not much has changed appearance-wise, various hardware components have been upgraded. The display is still 4 inches with FWVGA resolution, but the processing power is now double with a 1.2GHz quad core Snapdragon 200 SOC onboard.

What’s disappointing is that there’s just 4GB of storage and 512MB of RAM, while its predecessor (Lumia 525) offered 8GB of flash memory and 1GB of RAM. Additionally, you’ll be able to throw in a 128GB microSD card for more hoarding capacity.
