The Micromax Canvas Knight Cameo has taken its place amongst the growing portfolio of KitKat smartphones in India. But the handset isn’t just another device running Android 4.4. As the name would suggest, the phone is a compact version of the company’s flagship and it delivers the same attractive design in a smaller and more affordable package.
The Micromax Canvas Knight Cameo is fitted with a 4.7-inch display which isn’t much smaller compared to the original’s. And as you’d expect, the resolution has been dropped as well, thankfully to 720p HD and nothing lower. The phone continues to offer octa core performance through a 1.4GHz MT6592M chipset based on the Cortex A7.
Obviously, there will be a noticeable difference in performance, but it won’t slow down usual tasks. For memory, the company has supplied 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. A microSD card slot is also present and can accommodate an additional 32GB.

Like its larger sibling, the handset features dual SIM card slots as well, and it even supports HSPA+ 3G networks. Lastly, a 2000mAh battery has been included and it can deliver around 7 hours of talk time.
