The exact BlackBerry Z10 release date for the US hasn’t been mentioned, but it has been announced that the handset will be made available in March for an on-contract price of around $200. The much-anticipated smartphone operates with the assistance of the re-designed BB 10 OS and was launched along with the Q10 at events held yesterday in multiple cities around the world.
Running the latest version of the company’s platform, the Z10 is a full touchscreen device that claims to pack in a powerful internal system. It is splashed in shades of black and white and flaunts a 4.2-inch multi-touch display. This screen can render clear, high definition visuals in 1280 x 768p resolution at a pixel density of 356ppi. An 8MP primary camera capable of recording HD 1080p videos, has been embedded on the rear side.
It ships with 16GB onboard memory as well as an expansion slot to increase the storage further with the help of a microSD card. The handset’s internal working is carried out under the supervision of a dual core processor which ticks at 1.5GHz and works in conjunction with 2GB of RAM to ensure smooth multitasking and navigation.
