Now that the BlackBerry 10 OS release date is looming, we’re bound to come across rumors of upcoming devices and one such speculated phone is the BlackBerry Z10. If the grapevine is to be believed, this device resembles the touchscreen Torch handset of the Canadian manufacturer and will naturally run the latest platform.

With the Z10, the OEM has not only done away with its symbolic form factor that features a full physical QWERTY keypad, but also changed the way it christens phones. So far all BlackBerry devices have followed a set pattern for their names that comprises four digits at the end. But the rumored device has simply been named Z10. Those looking forward to a new handset from the company should not be disappointed as it will also be releasing candybar gadgets for business users who cannot do without their keypads.

The above snapshot of the device in question was leaked via the guys over at Unwired View who received it from a reliable source. Apparently, it forms a part of the L-series and will come drenched in shades of black and white. And that’s not all, the aforementioned website also reports that a keyboard-equipped device that runs the 10 OS is on the cards as well, and although its exact name is not known, it will most probably toddle into markets as the X10.

While the physical keypad will not be accompanying some of the forthcoming devices, the company has developed an intuitive virtual keyboard which will continue to offer ease of use. The new BB Keyboard is said to be capable of learning users’ writing style for added accuracy and adjust subtly in case of typos. The OS will also tag along BB Hub which can be launched anytime through a simple swipe on the screen so users can keep tabs on their conversations at all times.

So far, this is all we know about the leaked BlackBerry Z10. But we certainly do not have to wait for too long as handsets powered by the BB 10 OS will be released in their full glory on January 30. But we are not likely to receive any official information about this smartphone, until RIM showcases them at the CES to be held early next year.
