The Gionee Elife E7 smartphone that integrates the powerful quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor under the hood has been announced for India and will be released next month. Interested customers will have the option of picking it up in various shades such as white, black, yellow, green, blue or red and choose between 16GB and 32GB memory options.
So let’s take a quick look at the phone’s features. The successor to the Elife E6 falls in the phablet category as its front panel is dominated by a huge touchscreen measuring 5.5 inches. This LTPS display has a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. An 8MP camera can also be seen on the front side and it should be capable of capturing high-quality selfies and of course, facilitating video conferencing.
On the flip side rests a 16MP snapper that has all the common attributes like video recording, auto focus, LED flash, digital zoom and much more. The phone’s intuitive interface is due to the Android Jelly Bean 4.2 OS tweaked with the Amigo 2.0 UI, while the internal working is carried out under the supervision of a 2.2GHz or 2.5GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor.
And what’s more, if you go for the 16GB variant of the Gionee phone, you can expect 2GB of RAM and as for the 32GB variant, it brings 3GB of RAM for smooth multitasking and navigation. The onboard memory of the phone is not expandable. And as far as the battery life is concerned, it should be able to provide usage time of an entire day, thanks to a 2500mAh power pack.
The Gionee Elife E7 costs Rs 26,999 (16GB) and 29,999 (32GB) and will be available in January.
