Sony Xperia T, Xperia V and Xperia J show up at IFA

With the Sony Xperia T, Xperia V and Xperia J having been unveiled at the IFA event in Berlin, the company has a new flagship model with new features to boast of. While the T is slated to launch globally as early as within the next few weeks, the other two models will be released by Sony in Q4 of this year.

The flagship Xperia T will come embedded with a 4.6-inch HD Reality Display which will be powered by the Mobile BRAVIA Engine. It’s PlayStation Certified, so lots of games from the PlayStation Mobile program will be accessible. The device’s 13MP rear camera makes for 1080p HD recordings, while its front snapper allows users to capture clips in 720p HD format. One-touch, an NFC function comparable to Galaxy S3’s S Beam technology, also makes its way into the handset. This Ice Cream Sandwich smartphone (upgradable to Jelly Bean) will come equipped with a 1.5GHz dual core processor.

The Xperia V bears almost the same features as the T, albeit a few changes. Its screen in a 4.3-inch HD Reality Display, while it has been equipped with LTE technology for faster Internet speeds. The Xperia J on the other hand, comprises a 4.0-inch FWVGA Display, and is being pegged by Sony as an affordable model. Its main highlights include 5MP AF camera, a front chat camera and a 1GHz Qualcomm processor.

The Sony Xperia T, Xperia V and Xperia J price and release date details aren’t out yet. However, it has been confirmed that the T will be seen launching globally within the next few weeks.
