Google LG Nexus 4 price and release date announced by Three UK

The price and release date details of the Google LG Nexus 4 are officially revealed by Three UK and the device is all set to make its appearance in time for the holidays. The smartphone will hit store shelves along with its white colored sibling from TalkTalk on December 13.

A successor to phones like Galaxy Nexus, Nexus S and Nexus One, this Google-branded device treats users to Android Jelly Bean v4.2. It is graced by a 4.7-inch WXGA True HD IPS multi-touch screen with pixel density of 320ppi and boasts of delivering clear visuals in 1280 x 768p resolution. In addition to a scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass 2 coating, it takes advantage of the G2 Touch Hybrid display technology.

The handset is armed with dual cameras for allowing customers to not only capture high definition videos and still shots, but also make face-to-face video calls on the move. A 1.3MP webcam rests on the front panel, while an 8MP snapper lays claim over the flip side. Besides Photo Sphere, the primary camera comes with a number of other attributes such as continuous focus, real-time zoom, time lapse mode and the ability to capture 1080p HD videos.

As far as the internal working is concerned, the Nexus 4 seems efficient enough to carry out multiple operations at the same time, thanks to the Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor with 1.5GHz quad core Krait CPUs. There’s 2GB of RAM and it either arrives with 8GB or 16GB internal memory. The phone is also said to be capable of rendering enhanced 3D graphics.

Need we mention that it offers access to the Google Play store and even tags along a wide array of Google Mobile services? Additionally, it has built-in Wi-Fi for wireless internet and extends support to the carrier’s DC-HSDPA network. The other communication options are inclusive of NFC, S Beam and Bluetooth and more.

The Google LG Nexus 4 will be available for a price of £29 (approx. Rs. 2,585) with The One Plan of £35 (approx. Rs. 3,120) per month. It can also be purchased with Pay As You Go data plans for £399.99 (approx. Rs. 35,670).
