The limited edition 24K gold Sony Xperia P smartphone is on the cards and coming soon to compete with luxury phones such as the Gresso Regal Black and Mobiado Grand Touch Aston Martin. According to the official Sony blog, the company will release only 15 variants of this gold-plated handset.

The device belonging to the Xperia NXT series, flaunts a 24K gold coating and is expected to employ specifications similar to the basic version. It should be outfitted with a 4-inch 960 x 540p capacitive TFT multi-touch Reality display powered by the Mobile Bravia Engine. The touchscreen is reinforced by a shatter-proof mineral glass in order to keep scratches at bay and even employs the WhiteMagic technology for producing clear visuals in brightly lit conditions.

Its internal working is carried out with a little assistance of a dual core U8500 processor that clocks in a maximum speed of up to 1GHz.
