The HTC Windows Phone 8X release date is pegged for November. This brand new Windows Phone 8 handset is packed to the brim with several handy camera features, Beats Audio and a lot more.

In terms of the exterior, the HTC cookie sports a unibody form factor that tapers towards the end to lend it a sleeker look while in the hands. To further accentuate its appearance, it will be out in a range of hues covering flame red, california blue, limelight yellow and graphite black. The colors will be topped off in premium matte to bring out a ‘sophisticated’ feel. The Live Tiles feature exclusive to this operating system, is claimed to be preserved in essence in its outer design.

“We’ve been inspired by Windows Phone 8 to create new smartphones that give the platform the iconic design and personality it deserves. Windows Phone has clearly emerged as one of the top mobile ecosystems and is competitive against any other smartphone platform in the world,” commented Peter Chou, CEO of HTC Corporation.

Looking prominent on the front bezel is a 4.3-inch HD super LCD 2 touch panel that’s reinforced with Gorilla Glass 2 to withstand those inadvertent hits and scratches. As is the rule with newer HTC phones, Beats Audio is part of the experience to spruce up acoustics. The complete show is powered by the integrated Qualcomm S4 dual core chipset with 1.5GHz clock speeds. The HTC Windows Phone 8X leans on 1GB RAM, while providing potential users 16GB of internal hoarding space.

According to the Taiwanese manufacturer, it is the first time that an HTC device will boast of a 2.1MP front-facing camera with an f/2.0 aperture and 88 degrees ultra wide-angle photography that enables snapping up images of up to 4 people in one take. The flip side is graced by an 8MP CMOS sensor with BSI, a dedicated imaging chip and more.
