HTC One X+ price in India, availability details spelled out

The price in India of the HTC One X+ was already revealed in November and now the phone has hit availability status in the country through online retailers. The flagship Android smartphone brings some advanced features to the platter such as Jelly Bean OS, quad core processor and advanced camera capabilities.

Introduced in India along with the HTC 8S, Desire SV and Windows Phone 8X, it comes encased in a form factor that measures 134.36 x 69.9 x 8.9 millimeters. The device tips the scales at merely 135 grams when weighed along with the battery. It is fitted with a 4.7-inch Super LCD 2 HD multi-touch display of 720p resolution. A Corning Gorilla Glass coating has also been reinforced on it to keep scrapes and scratches at bay.

The One X+ is fueled by a quad core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor which ticks at 1.7GHz and 1GB of RAM to facilitate multitasking and smooth navigation. Its intuitive navigation can be attributed to the Android Jelly Bean 4.1 platform that is tweaked with HTC Sense. The phone is compatible with micro SIM cards and tags along 64GB of onboard memory. The storage is not expandable.

A 1.6MP front-mounted webcam with a dedicated HTC ImageChip can either be used for the purpose of making video calls or recording 720p HD videos. The HTC phone’s flip side houses an 8MP primary camera that boasts of attributes like auto focus, LED flash, a BSI sensor, f/2.0 aperture, video stabilization and the ability to record 1080p videos. It can also click pictures while shooting movies.

Additionally, the handset has been integrated with Beats Audio technology for a better acoustic experience. It arrives with GPS with Glonass and Bluetooth as well as other communication options such as NFC and Wi-Fi. The device is available in shades of black and white and draws power from a 2100mAh lithium-ion polymer battery.

The HTC One X+ has been priced at Rs. 40,190, but it is up for purchase for Rs. 39,500 through Snapdeal.
