HTC 8S price in India springs out, WP8, dual core chip, 4-inch screen in tow

The price in India of the HTC 8S has been revealed by the OEM, along with the HTC 8X, Desire SV and One X+. It is another Windows Phone 8-powered device to be released in November and will be available in hues of fiesta red and atlantic blue in the country.

Based on Microsoft’s newest mobile operating system, the HTC device is blessed with a 4-inch Super LCD WVGA touchscreen with Corning Gorilla Glass to avoid scratches in case of accidental drops. Its internal working is carried out under the supervision of a dual core Qualcomm S4 chipset that processes at a speed of 1GHz. Besides 4GB internal memory, it has 512MB of RAM as well as an expansion slot for a microSD card.

Measuring not more than 10.28mm in thickness, the 8S is armed with a 1700mAh lithium-ion polymer battery and a 5MP camera with features like LED flash, auto focus and the ability to record videos in 720p resolution. Apart from an SD card slot, it is embedded with a micro SIM card slot and a 3.5mm audio jack. Some of the other attributes of the phone include Xbox Live, Bluetooth 3.1, Wi-Fi, GPS and Beats Audio.

Interested users can lay their hands over the HTC 8S for a price of Rs. 19,260. It will hit availability status this month.
