The HTC 8X smartphone release date has been set for sometime in November, while its price in India is close to Rs. 35,000. Powered by the latest Windows Phone 8 platform, it has other devices like the HTC 8S, One X+ and Desire SV for company.
Drenched in shades of california blue and graphite black, the handset with dimensions of 132.35 x 66.2 x 10.12 millimeters features a matte finish. The lightweight phone’s front panel is draped by a 4.3-inch Super LCD 2 HD touchscreen that renders visuals in 720p resolution. Moreover, this display is coated with Corning Gorilla Glass 2 for resisting scrapes and scratches.
The 8X even boasts of a 2.1MP front-facing webcam that can record videos in 1080p resolution and facilitate video conferencing on the move. As for the primary camera, there’s an 8MP snapper complete with attributes like HTC ImageChip, auto focus, LED flash, a BSI sensor and the ability to record high definition videos. The WP8 smartphone is fueled by a 1.5GHz dual core Qualcomm S4 processor and 1GB of RAM.
Prospective users can expect 16GB of onboard memory with this Microsoft-certified phone. It is compatible with micro SIM cards and draws power from a rechargeable 1800mAh lithium-ion polymer battery. Its communication options are inclusive of Bluetooth, NFC and Wi-Fi and the Beats Audio-enabled device sports a 3.5mm headset jack for establishing connections with various peripherals.
The HTC 8X will up for grabs for a price of Rs. 35,023 this month.
