The freshly disclosed Detached JuiceTank case for iPhone 4/4S aims to facilitate cordless charging. As the name suggests, the sheath incorporates a charger that enables users to hang their handset directly from a power outlet.

Coming across as a wireless, battery-powering alternative, the case is deemed to be ideal for those who often get caught without their charging solutions in hand. Its apparent lightweight form factor employs an automated plug to quickly make way for juicing up the Apple device. The plug can even be folded in as the accessory gets transformed into a protective cover for iPhone.

“I had a bad habit of leaving my charger at home and getting stuck with a dead cellphone. The JuiceTank is the perfect answer to this common problem, remarkable in its simplicity. When your case is your charger, you have everything you need to keep your iPhone looking great and fully charged at all times,” commented Detached founder Jesse Pliner.

Showing off a smooth jet black shade, the body of the peripheral is crafted with polycarbonate material that should offer the much-needed protection to the handset. While the rugged exterior shields the device from damage due to involuntary slips and falls, the tender internal surface should keep the case as good as new.

The brains behind the venture are collecting funds to back up the manufacturing process. The Detached JuiceTank price is expected to be $70 (approx. Rs. 3,515), but it is presently being retailed at $55 (approx. Rs 2,760) for early supporters of the initiative. The case should be seen sometime around summer 2012.
