First seen at the iWorld earlier this year, the WD My Book Thunderbolt Duo is now available through select stores and online retailers in the U.S. Deemed suitable for professionals and Mac aficionados, the dual storage device is said to be the first of its ilk featuring Thunderbolt technology.

With storage capacities of up to 6TB, the gadget sports a dual port design which allows users to daisy chain it with additional Thunderbolt Duos or various other peripherals. This gives room for increasing the available storage capacity to a vast extent.
