Not many days after the price details of the Samsung Ativ S were declared for the UK, the phone is all set to grab Canadian folks’ attention through carriers such as Bell, Rogers and Telus. The smartphone is one of the many devices that have been vying to run the Windows 8 platform.
So what does the WP8-driven handset have in store for the country? Well for starters, it offers features that the operating system is well known for such as the resizable tiles. This allows users to set the live tiles into small large or medium sizes as per their preferences and convenience.
It houses a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. Seen on the rear side is an 8MP camera bundled with features like auto focus and an LED flash. From the interior, a 1.5GHz dual core processor along with 1GB of RAM delivers the device with speed to undertake various tasks.

Rogers has put up the smartphone on sale at a cost of $79.99 (approx. Rs. 4,358) with a 3-year contract. At the same time, it can be picked up via Telus for $29 (approx. Rs. 1,580) with $50 (approx. Rs. 2,724) monthly rentals for 3 years.
