The Nokia Lumia 620 release date has already been set and the smartphone carrying an affordable price tag will grace the store shelves in January next year. A successor to the Lumia 610, this Windows Phone-powered handset will initially be launched in Asia, Europe and middle East.

Measuring 115.4 x 61.1 x 11.02 millimeters, the compact device tips the scales at 127 grams when weighed along with the battery. It comes splashed in shades of yellow, cyan, magenta, black, white, lime green and orange. The dual-shot color technique used in this phone works towards producing secondary color blends and depth effects. And if that’s not enough, the Finnish manufacturer will also introduce exchangeable shells for personalizing this handset.

Front

It takes inspiration from the likes of Lumia 920 as well as Lumia 820 and employs an exclusive camera lens for its 5MP primary snapper. The phone is complete with attributes like auto focus, LED flash, Cinemagraph lens and Smart Shoot amongst others and can be utilized for the purpose of recording high definition videos. A VGA front-mounted webcam has also been added to the mix, in order to facilitate video conferencing on the move.

Although the 3G phone ships with 8GB of internal storage, prospective users have the option to expand its memory by up to 64GB with a little assistance from a microSD card.

Furthermore, it is adorned by a 3.8-inch TFT WVGA ClearBlack multi-touch display of 800 x 480p resolution.
