Finally trouncing the purported delay, AT&T will commence shipping the Samsung Galaxy S3 across shores on July 6. Fans eager to get a hold of the device can now purchase it via the carrier’s channels. Just recently the smartphone made its way to Sprint stores.

Although the company hadn’t officially announced the smartphone’s release date across the globe, it had to postpone its initial plans owing to the ‘overwhelming demand’ throughout. The shortage majorly hit the 32GB versions and the ones drenched in pebble blue.

Drawing back to its core ingredients, the sleek device functions on the Ice Cream Sandwich platform and employs a 1.5GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor that has switched places with the quad core Exynos processor. It dons a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED multi-touch display that runs over its 5.38 x 2.78 x 0.34-inch form. Another key highlight of this smartphone is its 8MP rear-facing snapper that touts features like zero-lag shutter speed, a burst shot function and face-recognition tagging, among others.

Apart from the above mentioned features, this handset is also high on internet aspects. Along with in-built attributes like the Media Hub, S Suggest, AllShare and Ch@tOn, users can also take advantage of the onboard carrier’s services that include AT&T Navigation, myAT&T and much more. However, for a few particular apps separate subscription may be required. Customers can also employ the carrier’s Device Help for easy step by step tutorials and videos related to the gadget’s features and functions.

The Samsung Galaxy S3 price via AT&T is marked at $199.99 (approx. Rs. 11,120) attached to a two-year agreement. It can be picked up through the carrier’s online and retail stores, as mentioned on AT&T’s official community blog.
