The Verizon HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE, unveiled in May, is all set to hit the streets on July 5. However, it will be exclusively available through the network’s stores.

The device runs on the Gingerbread OS that teams up with the HTC Sense 4 to boost the user experience. Its form factor sports a virtual QWERTY keypad and an optical joystick that allow easy navigation. A 3.7-inch touch-sensitive display decorates its façade with a 480 x 800 WVGA resolution. Alongside these features, it can also brag about an 8MP sensor with AF and LED flash attributes. Users can access the snapper directly through the homescreen, courtesy of its quick activation ability.

Like other HTC devices, this one also tags along the Beats Audio technology to pep up the music. Its 1.2GHz, dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor and integrated 512RAM clubbed with 8GB Flash memory ensures multitasking. If the onboard storage isn’t sufficient, users can also expand memory up to 40GB via a 32GB microSD card. Under the hood, a 1700mAh lithium-ion removable battery powers the device to render ample entertainment hours.

Apart from being NFC certified, the handset offers Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPRS connectivity that may interest internet buffs. It also drags along special features like Push Gmail and Exchange and Friend Stream. Since this smartphone is 4G LTE compatible, users can take advantage of this capability to upload content on social networking sites within seconds.

The Verizon HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE price is scratched at $149.99 (approx. Rs. 8,225), inclusive of a mail-in rebate and a two-year agreement. It can be picked up via the company’s online and retail outlets.
