The HTC One VX release date is here via AT&T. While the device’s imminent arrival was announced in October, the carrier did not provide the exact launch day or price details. It was slated to be let out in November itself along with other HTC smartphones like the One X+ and the Windows Phone 8X, but it did not show up.
The service provider hasn’t officially announced the phone’s arrival, but it informed the guys over at Android Central that the new One member will hit store shelves this month. The company’s spokesperson confirmed that they will be fully stocked at all channels by December 7. The mid-range device belongs to the One series of smartphones from HTC.
The handset treats itself to a generous helping of the Ice Cream Sandwich OS, which is tweaked with the HTC Sense 4 UI. A dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor that runs at a maximum speed of 1.2GHz, rests snugly under the hood along with 1GB DDR2 RAM. It ships with 8GB of internal memory and an expansion slot that can be used to increase the storage by up to 32GB using a microSD card.
The front side of the One VX is draped in a 4.5-inch qHD super LCD multi-touch display of 960 x 540p resolution and a pixel density of 245ppi. Weighing a little less than 125 grams, the phone with dimensions of 133.5 x 67.6 x 9.19 millimeters, is blessed with dual cameras. A VGA front-mounted webcam can be utilized for the purpose of capturing videos or self portraits and making video calls.
A 5MP primary camera comes in handy for recording HD 1080p videos and clicking high-resolution pictures. It is loaded with multiple attributes like a 28mm wide angle lens, smart LED flash, a BSI sensor, HTC ImageChip and more. The LTE-enabled smartphone is embedded with a 1800mAh lithium-ion battery as well.
The HTC One VX smartphone’s price is yet to be disclosed by AT&T.
