AT&T HTC One X+ price is $200, now available in the US

The price of the HTC One X+ was revealed last week by AT&T along with its release date details which suggest that the phone is now up for grabs in the US. It went up for pre-order on November 13 and hit availability status this week along with other devices like the One VX and the Samsung Galaxy Camera.

This flagship Android handset which is believed to be the first device that has been deployed with a powerful quad core chipset as well as the Jelly Bean platform, builds up on the success of its predecessor the One X. A 1.7GHz Nvidia Tegra 3 4-Plus-1 chip with a battery-saving core, works in tandem with 1GB of RAM and is responsible for facilitating smooth multitasking.

The Android 4.1 OS teams up with HTC Sense 4+ for a user-friendly and intuitive interface. Moreover, the black colored stylish smartphone boasts of 64GB of internal storage. Its front panel is graced by a 4.7-inch TFT Super LCD 2 touchscreen of 1280 x 720p resolution as well as a 1.6MP CMOS webcam, capable of shooting 720p HD videos. Needless to say, it can be used for video conferencing too.

An 8MP primary snapper with a CMOS sensor, auto focus, LED flash, f/2.0 28mm optics, 8x digital zoom and HTC ImageChip, has been embedded on the flip side. The advanced camera can also record movies at 1080p resolution. It features continuous shooting and is said to have the ability to click high-quality pictures even in poorly lit surroundings. And if that’s not enough, the One X+ phone’s HTC VideoPic function enables taking still shots while recording videos.

The device with dimensions of 5.3 x 2.75 x 0.36 inches, hides a 2100mAh battery under the hood and can provide talk time of close to 12.75 hours at a stretch. Its standby time is of approximately 15 days. The smartphone’s specifications list has also been added with communication options such as NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi along with the hotspot attribute for sharing its network with as many as 8 devices.

The HTC One X+ is now up for grabs through AT&T for a price of $199.99 (approx. Rs. 11,000) with a two-year customer agreement and qualifying data plans.
