The Magicon mNote, m1 and m2 smartphones have been unveiled in collaboration with Aircel and will soon be made available for ‘smart prices.’ Designed especially to suit the needs of the youth, these phones come along with an Aircel plan that offers 250 minutes talk time, 250 SMS and 1GB data for a period of three months.
The dual SIM dual standby mNote has been fitted with a WVGA UltraTouch capacitive display that offers a multi-touch real estate spanning 5 inches. This phablet’s internal working is carried out under the supervision of a dual core chipset that claims to be capable of processing at a maximum speed of 1GHz. It takes advantage of the Ice Cream Sandwich platform and can offer fast internet access as it is compatible with 3G mobile networks.
The Bluetooth-enabled device also features Wi-Fi and can act as a mobile hotspot to share its 3G network with multiple Wi-Fi-based mobile gadgets. Said to be apt for watching HD videos and gaming on the move, the hybrid slab arrives with built-in GPS and is powered by a 2000mAh battery. It is equipped with an 8MP primary camera with auto focus and flash as well as a regular front-facing webcam for video conferencing purposes.
Furthermore, the dual SIM m1 and m2 devices with a 3.5-inch touchscreen, binge on the Android Gingerbread platform (version 2.3). Both smartphones have been integrated with a 1GHz processor in order to ensure smooth multitasking and navigation at all times. They acquire steam from a 1500mAh battery that can be expected to keep these gadgets charged for a relatively long time.
And if that’s not enough, both handsets have been blessed with a 5MP snapper to facilitate capturing images and videos. The m1 is a 2G device with EDGE connectivity, that also comes with a front-facing webcam and flash for its primary camera. The m2 runs 3G and boasts of the hotspot function as well. All the three smartphones have been pre-loaded with applications like Twitter, Skype, Angry Birds, Facebook, Fruit Ninja and more.
The Magicon mNote, m1 and m2 carry price tags that read Rs. 9,999, Rs. 4,499 and Rs. 4,999, respectively.
