As the festival season is just around the corner, the e-retailer RadioShack has launched a sale to offer the Apple iPhone 4S as well as the 3GS and 4 variants of the high-end device with a $30 discount, apparently to woo shoppers. The sale that started yesterday, will last throughout this week.
Besides the $30 discount, users can also take advantage of the Trade and Save program of this e-retailer, says MacRumors. Under this program, the iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4 can be traded to avail of another discount, anywhere between $100 and $200. This trade-in credit is said to bring the price of the 8GB iPhone 4 down to $0, while the 16GB iPhone 4S can be picked up for $69.99 (approx. Rs. 3,675).
The sale is also applicable for the high capacity 32GB and 64GB iPhone 4S which will cost $269.99 (approx. Rs. 14,170) and $369.99 (approx. Rs. 19,421), respectively. The trade-in benefit will allow users to grab these devices for prices ranging from $69.99 (approx. Rs. 3,675) to $269.99 (approx. Rs. 14,172). All these phones will require a two-year customer agreement from AT&T along with the activation fee. Existing contract-holders may also have to pay up an early termination fee.
Additionally, the iPhone 3GS is being offered free of charge along with a contract and eligible 3GS phones can be traded back to earn a $100 discount on new devices. Existing users of the iPhone 4 can exchange their fully functional device to gain $200 off on new smartphones. Moreover, AppleCare+ is also available as an optional add-on along with the above mentioned Apple gadgets from RadioShack.
The sale for AT&T versions of Apple iPhone 4S, 4 and 3GS will be valid through December 17 at RadioShack.
