iPhone 4S reaching Hong Kong, South Korea and 13 other countries on November 11

Rising high in the popularity stakes worldwide, the iPhone 4S is all set to release in 13 more countries beside Hong Kong and South Korea from November 11. Apple has opened the gates for prospective customers in these nations to register the smartphone for pre-order starting November 4.

As of now, the next generation iPhone is available in 29 countries worldwide and it will be making its entry into more than 70 countries by the end of this year. November 11 will mark its arrival in Albania, Armenia, Bulgaria, El Salvador, Greece, Guatemala, Hong Kong, Malta, Montenegro, New Zealand, Panama, Poland, Portugal, Romania and South Korea.

Powered by the freshly launched iOS 5 platform, this Apple handset is equipped with an 8MP camera featuring autofocus, face detection, LED flash and a large f/2.4 aperture. Its highlight is the incorporated Siri technology. It is basically a personal assistant software that aids users by speaking to them and understanding what tasks they wish to execute by interpreting natural conversation.

The smartphone is integrated with a 3.5-inch 960 x 640p widescreen multi-touch Retina display possessing a contrast ratio of 800:1. Additionally it is incorporated with Assisted GPS and Glonass technology as well as support for 3G, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity options. Slated to retail from November 11 in the mentioned countries, the smartphone will however not be available for pre-orders in Albania, El Salvador, Guatemala, Malta, Montenegro and Panama.

The iPhone 4S comes dressed in black and white colors. It is available in three capacities of 16GB, 32GB and 64GB which are priced at $199 (approx. Rs. 9,839), $299 (approx. Rs. 14,758) and $399 (approx. Rs. 19,678), respectively.
