First announced in Cupertino on October 4, the iPhone 4S India price and availability has officially been declared by network operators Aircel and Airtel. While iPhone 4S pre-orders started during mid-November in the country, the handset can now be purchased directly through the carriers.
In spite of many comments about it appearing similar to its predecessor and barely delivering to the full expectations, a lot of people still seem keen to lay hands on this device. iPhone 4S Tariff Plans:
While Aircel currently has only the 16GB and 64GB variants to offer, Airtel is also providing the 64GB option along with the first two. Airtel has pre-paid tariff plans starting at Rs. 600. Further plans with this network carrier cost Rs. 1000, Rs. 1600, and Rs. 2000. Consumers opting for post-paid plans also have choices within the same price range.
Those picking Aircel as the network carrier get ready plans accompanying the handset they select. For the 16GB variant, the operator has a pre-paid as well as post-paid plan of Rs. 950, where users get 1024MB Wi-Fi data, 650MB 3G data, 350 SMS to anywhere in the country, and 3000 minutes of local and STD calls. For the 32GB pre-paid as well as post-paid option, Aircel offers a plan with a monthly rental rate of Rs. 1150. This package offers 500 more minutes of talk time and 100 more SMS in comparison to the former one.
With both operators, the iPhone 4S India price for the 16GB and 64GB handset variants are Rs. 44,500 and Rs. 50,900, respectively. Also, Airtel is offering the 64GB model for a price of Rs. 57,500.
