HTC Titan price and availability disclosed by AT&T

AT&T has revealed the price and availability details of the Windows Phone based HTC Titan smartphone which was announced back in September. This device running on the 7.5 platform offers the HTC Watch service, similar to most other handsets from the company, to let users have access to movies and TV shows on the go.

The sleek device with a thickness of about 9.9mm dons a 4.7-inch touchscreen display of 480 x 800 pixel resolutions. It is fueled by a 1.5GHz processor and 512MB RAM. The 8MP camera of the device boasts of f2.2 lens, dual LED flash and BSI sensor and is capable of recording videos in 720p resolution. The secondary 1.3MP front-facing camera facilitates online video conferencing.

The multimedia-ready device is pre-loaded with the Zune software which offers the Music and Videos Hub to listen to radio and enjoy audio and video content. Featuring 5.1 surround sound for video, it supports formats m4b, mp3, wma, mp4, m4v, mbr, wmv and more. The business-oriented device also allows multitasking and provides connectivity options such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPRS, EDGE in addition to 3G capabilities.

It is powered by a rechargeable 1600mAh Lithium-ion battery which can cough the juice for talk time of about 710 minutes in GSM and up to 410 minutes in WCDMA. The standby time for WCDMA and GSM is 460 hours and 360 hours, respectively. The smartphone is also integrated with social media websites such as Facebook and Twitter.

The HTC Titan smartphone will be available online and at retail stores starting November 20 through AT&T. It is priced at $199.99 (approx. Rs. 9,995)
