Sprint has announced the availability of LG’s Rumor mobile phone that comes in green color. An ideal handset for the Irish, it allows users to access social networking sites or text message your friends to make plans to meet at a local Irish pub and also download Irish-spirited ringtones.
The features of Rumor includes built-in MP3 player with a 4GB capacity microSD card slot, Sprint Navigation with GPS-enabled turn-by-turn driving directions, one-click traffic rerouting and more than 10 million business listings. It also sports a 1.3 megapixels camera with 2x digital zoom, Bluetooth technology, Sprint Family Locator to locate your kids; and eco-friendly packaging with a postage-paid return envelope enclosed as well as checks stock quotes to see if you are “in the greenâ€.
The slide phone already comes in black and white color, apart from the green shade. It has two keypads, wherein the external one is namely used for dialing numbers and the internal one offers comfortable text messaging and e-mailing. Users can also gain quick access to instant messaging services that includes AIM, MSN and Yahoo! and many other social networking communities. They can even customize the text messaging experience by assigning ‘text tones’ to address book entries for audible identification of text message senders.
Additionally, the other messaging functions are Voice SMS to record a voice message and send it to any mobile phone, email address, or landline phone just like a text message. The network carrier company enables sending a text from a mobile phone to landline, where it is automatically converted to a voice message.
With the Sprint Music Manager, users can download a software to transfer unprotected songs from a PC to the Rumor and at the same time manage songs on a PC via an intuitive interface.
Priced at $49.99 (approx. Rs. 2000), the LG Rumor Green mobile phone is available with a two-year service agreement, after a $30 instant rebate and a $50 mail-in rebate from Sprint’s website.

THIS IS THE BEST PHONE EVER!!!! im getting it in green really soon. in the pictures the green one looks all dar but in real life it isnt my friend has this phone but in black and it is soooo cool. i can’t wait. and sprint said they fixed all they problems the rumor had. this is the phone i have been dreaming about and i bet when i get it i will have it for a loooong time i LOVE this phone its so cool.
I got this phone right when it first came out i love it! i just hate when you listen to the media player you cant text while the music is playing. i also dont like the way pictures come out, they look real bad! but when you zoom in they look clear isnt that wierd and also when i print them out they look better. but yeah im happy sprint came out with this phone. because verizon is like the company with the best phones, and that gets me so mad. and i have the black and blue one. i hate that they came out with the green one way LATE!
i bought the green one it is da shyt i love da camera but da only flaw is dat there is no flash but in da light da pics r ever so clear n i love to txt so its perfect n i love the slideshow feature so every1 should get one its the sidekick of sprint.
Yeah, I was really excited before I got this phone, and I had verizon before Sprint. I hated my verizon phone, but since I got Sprint, I like Verizon a lot better. Personally, if you are a verizon customer, saty with your network. You don’t know what you got till its gone.

i love this phone i have it and mine is really scratched up but these phones are VERY durable i dropped mine in a pool one time and it still works i jsut had to take it apart and let it dry for a night…. 🙂
