Price and release date information of the Toshiba Qosmio X875 and Satellite S series have been declared for all those who have been waiting to lay their hands over Windows 8-based laptops from this OEM. They will hit availability status on October 26 along with a number of other devices like the Vaio Duo 11, Vaio Tap 20, Asus VivoBook and Lenovo Yoga amongst many others.
The Satellite S series all-purpose PCs utilize SRS Premium Sound HD audio enhancement technology to keep users entertained at all times. Other technologies like USB Sleep & Charge by the company, have also been deployed. They can be configured with the third generation Intel Core processors or the AMD A-series APUs along with AMD Radeon HD 7570M graphics. They can extend support to up to 8GB of RAM and 2GB DDR3 graphics memory and as much as 1TB of storage space. The ice blue-colored durable devices will be available in screen configurations of 15.6 and 17.3 inches. The 15.6-inch S955 with an AMD A-Series APU and 8GB of memory has also gone up for pre-order.
The Qosmio X875 fueled by the third generation Intel Core i7 processors and 1600MHz 32GB RAM, ensures an improved visual performance as it integrates the Nvidia GeForce GTX 670M graphics. It wears a 17.3-inch HD+ TruBrite display or a 3D screen with Nvidia 3D Vision and allows users to hoard digital content of up to 2TB. Fitted with an LED-backlit keyboard, the device boasts of harman/kardon quad speakers and SRS Premium Sound 3D.
The Toshiba Qosmio X875 can be picked up for a price of $1,479.99 (approx. Rs. 79,025), while the 15.6-inch and 17.3-inch Satellite S series laptops can be reserved for $699.99 (approx. Rs. 37,390) and $749.99 (approx. Rs. 40,060), respectively. The S955 starts at $649.99 (approx. Rs. 34,720). They will be available from October 26.
