The price of the Samsung Series 5 Ultra Touch is here along with the same details for a few other devices from the company’s Windows 8 lineup like the Series 7 Notebook and Series 9 Premium Ultrabook, apart from the Series 5 AIO and Series 7 AIO. Besides these, the South Korean manufacturer has also lined up the Ativ Smart PC 500T and Smart PC Pro 700T convertible tablets.
First, we have the Series 5 Ultra Touch that relies on a 10-point multi-touch HD panel for displaying content. Since it falls under the Ultrabook category, users can expect a sleek ergonomic form factor in addition to a 3rd generation Intel Core i3 or i5 processor. Like this one, the Series 7 Notebook also makes space for Ivy Bridge quad core CPUs. It features an LED-backlit LCD screen within a compact aluminum covering.
The Series 9 Premium Ultrabook is said to be amongst the company’s lightest and thinnest laptops till date. Coming to the two Series 5 and Series 7 AIOs, the latter flaunts a 10-point multi-touch screen that supports hand gestures for an enhanced user experience. It arrives in a sleek form factor with a minimalistic design that saves on space. The former is a PC that offers sufficient room between the legs to fit in a keyboard and mouse conveniently.
The price for the Samsung Series 5 Ultra Touch stands at $809.99 (approx. Rs.43,250) with an Intel Core i3 processor and $859.99 (approx. Rs. 45,900) with an Intel Core i5 one. The Series 5 AIO will be up for grabs for $799.99 (approx. Rs. 42,720), while the Series 9 Premium Ultrabook will hit stores starting at $1,299.99 (approx. Rs. 69,420). The cost for Series 7 AIO and Notebook begins at $1,699.99 (approx. Rs. 90,780) and $1,099.99 (approx. Rs. 58,750), respectively. The release date for each has been scheduled for October 26.
