For those looking out for a gaming laptop, the CyberPower Fang III Taipan is here for a base price of $1,819. Just like a few other devices we have seen lately, this one also supports dual Nvidia GeForce GTX 680Ms GPUs in the SLI mode and comes with the optional THX TruStudio technology to enhance the overall experience.

Firstly, the laptop can be picked up in a number of configurations, allowing users to customize it as per their requirements. Backed by 3rd generation Intel Core i7 processors, it offers up to 32GB of dual-channel DDR3 RAM for efficient multitasking and better gaming speeds. The device is based on the Windows 7 platform, but potential buyers also have the option of Microsoft’s latest OS. Plus, it supports the SATA interface and a pair of removable 2.5” SATA HDDs with RAID 0/1 configuration for hoarding content.

The CyberPower laptop flaunts a 17.3-inch LED-backlit display that renders visuals in an aspect ratio of 16:9 and a resolution of 1080p. The company has even included its Onkyo sound system and an integrated subwoofer to augment sound impact. Connectivity features include Gigabit Ethernet LAN, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth. The laptop measures 16.5” x 11.54” x 1.55” and weighs not more than 8.6 pounds along with a single GPU, ODD and battery pack.

The base price for the CyberPower Fang III Taipan reads $1,819 (approx. Rs. 97,625), and even at $5000 (approx. Rs. 2,68,350), it hasn’t been fully maxed out. The Windows 8 version’s release date has been scheduled for October 26 and it is currently up for pre-order.
