The Origin PC EON17-SLX laptop is amongst the few devices we have seen lately that boasts of a dual GPU configuration. Like the Eurocom Scorpius notebook, this one also supports two Nvidia or AMD graphics cards and it offers THX TruStudio Pro audio to enhance the overall entertainment experience.

This fully customizable laptop dons a 17.3-inch 1920 x 1080 pixel FHD LED backlit display that’s layered with either a glossy or a matte finish. The backlit keyboard comes with three lighting zones and several color options for identifying keys easily, even in the dark. The device can be configured with dual GeForce GTX 680M and Radeon HD 7970M GPUs through SLI and CrossFireX configurations, respectively.

Users will also be able to equip the notebook with 3rd generation Intel Core processors. Built around dimensions of 1” to 2” x 16.5” x 11.3”, it weighs approximately 3.9kg. Apart from two HDD slots, the laptop supports up to 32GB DDR3 of RAM operating at 1333MHz and an mSATA SSD. Users can also take advantage of the integrated 2MP webcam to conduct video conferences while on the move.

The device is incorporated with an integrated biometric fingerprint reader to tighten security. It is juiced up by an 8-cell 89.21Wh Li-ion battery that’s capable of delivering roughly 150 minutes of usage with a single HD 7970M GPU onboard. Features like USB 3.0 ports and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n are also thrown into the mix for extended connectivity.
