Negroponte’s One Laptop Per Child (OLPC) Foundation has announced a new program, “Get one Give One†with the intention of boosting sales and spreading the project.
This project especially aims at U.S and Canada residents, to purchase the computer in a limited time of two-weeks. Starting from 12th November, buyers will get two laptops for just $399. Out of which one will be for the buyer and the other will be shipped to a child in a developing country, including Afghanistan, Cambodia, Haiti, and Rwanda. Moreover, half the price of the computer will be tax-deducible.
