Recently Wacom had launched the Bamboo Tablet and Bamboo Fun in the US market. Now the manufacturer has entered the Indian market with Bamboo Fun for creative artists.
The Bamboo Fun is an ideal input device for drawing, painting, sketching and writing, as well as retouching photographs on a computer. Wacom claims that the Bamboo Fun helps to express ideas to communicate in a more natural and personal way.
The Fun incorporates a stylish design and comes in two sizes – small and medium. The small Bamboo Fun’s overall dimensions are 210 x 194 x 11 mm and active area size 148 x 92 mm. While the medium sized device is 280 x 235 x 11 mm and its active area is 217 x 135 mm.
The small sized Fun is available in silver while the medium will be available in black color.
The device incorporates four programmable ExpressKeys, which can be assigned for everyday shortcuts like cut, paste etc; while, the pen provides efficient way of working with 512 levels of pressure sensitivity. The Bamboo Fun also includes handwriting recognition technology. In addition, it features Touch Ring that makes zooming and scrolling easier.
The Bamboo Fun is compatible with Windows Vista and Mac OS.
Wacom’s Bamboo Fun will be available in the Indian market at the prices of Rs. 6,999 (Small) and Rs. 9,999 (Medium).
