Numark, the world’s leading manufacturer of products for the DJ market, has released iDJ2,t the company’s first DJ mixing console with Universal Dock for iPod.
The latest single iPod DJ mixer has the ability to scratch, control pitch key-lock and play two songs at the same time from a single iPod without the need of a computer. It also provides full-color screen, seamless loop, full cueing, pro-grade and balanced XLR connections or stereo RCA output.
This DJ mixer enables the user to attach multiple mass storage devices that includes additional iPods, thumb drives, and external USB hard drives through rear panel USB ports. It also features line inputs for any audio source including a microphone, CD players and turntables.
Moreover, it comes with a highly intuitive graphic interface for users to manage their library with track-profiling with ease. It also has integrated color navigation and full-function mixing abilities.
A mixing console and portable DJ system is compatible with MP3, WAV, and AAC (non-DRM) formats. Featuring a special iPod Direct Mode function, consumers can play all iPod-supported music along with iTunes music.
Numark’s iDJ2 single iPod DJ mixer will be available in September this year for $799 (approx. Rs. 32000) at an approximate street price of $599 in UK.
