The Samsung Galaxy Player 5.8 brings a host of entertainment features and a complete Android experience for those who want the best of both worlds. It also provides several education-related tools which include the Learning Hub.

As the name hints, a massive 5.8-inch qHD TFT LCD display dominates the front panel with an aspect ratio of 16:9 and a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. It comes equipped with the mDNIe technology which aims at enhancing the visual quality. There is also a front-facing VGA camera that enables users to capture self portraits and conduct video conferences.

Built around dimensions of 85.9mm x 165.8mm x 10.8mm, this media player tips the scales at 221 grams. Available in 16GB and 32GB versions, the device’s hoarding capacity can be further increased up to 32GB by slipping a microSD card into the memory expansion slot. Users will be able to surf the internet, check mails and download apps as well as games and much more over Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity.

Apart from Bluetooth 4.0, this ICS-based gadget provides quick access to a number of Samsung apps like ChatOn and AllShare Play.
