Olympus Stylus 410 Camera

The Olympus Stylus VH-515 and VH-410 cameras are the latest members of the company’s point-and-shoot lineup which feature Dual IS. And for those who like to stylize their images quickly, the manufacturer has included the Beauty Mode and the Makeup function.

To start off, the VH-515 is equipped with a 12MP BSI CMOS sensor, a 25mm wide-angle lens and an image processor that’s also seen in the Olympus Pen. This snapper aims at delivering high-sensitivity and low-noise images along with quick AF. The camera comes with super resolution 16x zoom, 8x optical zoom, iAUTO and Auto Tracking AF.

The company has thrown in 12 filters including the Magic Filter which provides two fresh options like Dramatic and Fragmented. Next up is the VH-410 that packs in a 16MP sensor and 26mm wide-angle lens that offers 5x optical zoom. With the help of Touch Focus and Touch Shutter, users will be able to capture stills by simply tapping on the object and hitting the click option. Videos can be recorded in HD quality in compressed AVI Motion JPEG format.

Both cameras share the Dual IS highlight which is a blend of high-sensitivity shooting and CMOS shift-type image stabilization. It aims at minimizing blurs and shakes while capturing images and recording videos. Users will be able to take advantage of the Beauty Mode and the Makeup function to customize their images with effects such as blush or eye shadows, false eyelashes and much more.

The Olympus Stylus VH-515 and VH-410 price is still under wraps. The company has confirmed the former’s release date for October, while the latter is slated to hit stores in mid-September.
